Landscape Install Foreman Job Description
Do you get fired-up to take a landscape design plan and bring it to life? It’s a powerful thing to know how to renovate an outdoor space from start to finish and make it truly amazing. That is what the BLD Landscape Install Foremen do, and we are looking to expand the team.
We would love to talk to you if you have 3+ years’ experience in landscape installation and construction management with strong leadership skills and a solid work ethic.
A BLD Landscape Install Foreman oversees the construction and installation of high-quality outdoor spaces and landscapes, transforming the ordinary into extraordinary. They need to be able to understand the design plans, work collaboratively with the Operations Manager, Project Manager, and Designer to devise a game plan for construction and execute on the vision.
Primary responsibilities for a BLD Landscape Install Foreman include managing and training crew members, supervising the use of equipment, ensuring safety guidelines and protocols are followed, and completing projects in a timely/efficient manner at BLD quality standards.
This full-time position directly supervises 2-4 crew members and interacts with the BLD Management Team, vendors, subcontractors, and clients. It is a year-round job as we work on installation projects throughout the entire year (weather permitting during the winter) in addition to snow removal services.

Your foreman will be assigning you tasks each day that you will be responsible for completing in an efficient manner. It is important that you have good communication with your foreman, take direction well, and ask questions if you don’t understand how to do something.
Daily tasks could include demolition, grading, planting, trenching, laying sod, stonework etc. You will also be responsible for maintaining and cleaning the tools and equipment you are using.
You need to be able to get to the job site on time each day and produce at least 40 hours of work each week during the spring, summer, and fall. Snow removal work in the winter is also available.

BLD Maintenance Team Lead Job Description
If you have 2+ years’ experience in landscape maintenance paired with strong leadership skills and a solid work ethic, we would love to talk to you!
As the seasons change throughout the spring, summer, and fall, the BLD Maintenance Lead will be prepared to lead their team through these changes and the varying types of work that need to be done. If you enjoy working outdoors, maintaining plants and grass, appreciate having a constant change of scenery and types of work to be accomplished, and know how to plan and lead a team, this job will be a good fit!
During the spring and fall, most of our customers are looking to have their yards cleaned up and prepared for the next season. We are looking for a Maintenance Lead who knows how to trim and prune plants and bushes accordingly for the season, mow, trim and troubleshoot lawn issues, weed, and is detailed oriented when it comes to their work. During the summer months the maintenance team primarily focuses on mowing customers lawns and doing light weeding.
The BLD Maintenance Lead will need to have excellent communication skills working directly with both the BLD Maintenance Scheduling Manager to gain insight to the customer’s request in addition to working directly with the customer regarding their specific needs and details. Training other maintenance team members on best practices and correct ways to work is a necessity. This is a fast-paced dynamic role!
This role will need to be able to get to the BLD shop on time each day and produce at least 40 hours of work each week during the spring, summer, and fall (overtime work is available). Snow removal work in the winter is also offered.
