Meet Our Designer, Paige Payne

Paige Payne Has Been Designing, Maintaining, and Implementing Landscapes in Colorado for 20 years.

Her journey began at the University of Georgia where she studied horticulture and anthropology. After moving to Colorado in 1999 she began working as an estate gardener and plant designer. This is where she learned the importance of intentional design while spending time in ever-evolving gardens. Paige specializes in plant design, edible landscapes, sustainable landscaping, and permaculture. These interests led her to complete a Master Gardener Training Program in 2007 and a Permaculture Design Course in 2014.

Paige has been working with BLD since 2010 to design and manage the installation of all types of landscapes. Her projects have included outdoor kitchens and firepits, complete exterior remodels, new home builds, small farms, food forests, lush perennial gardens and more. From the grand vision to the fine details, Paige can take your landscape from dream to reality.

Paige founded her own design company, Online Landscape Designs, offering online and digital landscape designs and garden resources primarily through online consultations. She has worked with clients in 5 countries and 10 states, but she is most familiar with the challenging yet rewarding conditions of Colorado.

She is also a mentor with the Permaculture Women’s Guild online permaculture design course where she encourages students create their own permaculture landscape designs.

“Hired BLD for two large water features, a flagstone path, and a couple of boulder landscapes. Their design ideas were right on the mark, their installation crew were great. Paige, the project manager was creative and fun to work with. On time and on budget. Very satisfied with the whole project.”
